Deji Properties was established by born and bred Middletonian, Chris Burton.
Since leaving school, Chris has worked freelance in the TV and Film industry; from comedy (League Of Gentlemen, Phoenix Nights) to childrens (Mister Maker, CBeebies Panto), and from documentaries (Mighty Ships, Most Haunted) to feature films (Paddington 2, 24 Hour Party People).
Being self employed has it’s disadvantages… the biggest being a lack of pension. As a result, Chris invested in property to plan for retirement.
The first purchase was a top floor apartment with wraparound balcony in Salford Quays, close to Media City.
Chris then diversified to the USA, purchasing a couple of apartments in New York close to Niagara Falls; half a dozen large detached houses in Michigan; and a luxury detached villa with private swimming pool close to Disney in Florida.
On the strength of the US dollar, the American properties were off-loaded and Deji Properties Ltd was established in 2018. The Salford Quays apartment was sold in 2021 and the company began to concentrate on a square mile area in Chris’ hometown of Middleton, North Manchester.
Why ‘Deji’?
